30 years ago the song ‘Don’t Break My Heart’ was released as a single.
The song was originally written by my dear friend Luc Weisser whom I asked if I could write new lyrics for it that would express what was on my mind at the time. It was not easy for him to let go but he finally granted me permission to do so. Willy brought some musical ideas as well. I co-wrote the lyrics with James T. Slater, an American songwriter. We recorded it at the mythical Muscle Shoals Studios in Alabama.
